Hey, Reader! I've been in the productivity game a long time. People assume I must live on caffeine, checklists, and zero downtime. The truth? I've never felt overwhelmed or burned out. And the biggest reason isn't some fancy app or 19-step morning routine. It's health and wellness. A couple of years ago, I had this realization that hit me like a ton of bricks: If you're not taking care of yourself emotionally, spiritually, and physically, it's really difficult to be productive. I used to think, "What does health have to do with getting stuff done?" Turns out—everything. Picture this: If you're 600 pounds overweight, smoking several packs of cigarettes a day (you read that right), staying up all night, running on fumes with no energy and poor sleep—how in the world are you going to crush your to-do list? You can't. Your body and mind simply don't have the fuel. Tony Robbins talks about being in the "right state." If you're not there—if your physical energy is tanked, your emotions are all over the place, or your spirit feels disconnected—then no tactic, no tool, no productivity hack is going to move the needle for long. Everything starts with lining up your health first.
Once those pieces are in place, the distractions, the procrastination, the "I don't wanna" moments become way easier to handle. You actually have the energy and clarity to focus on what matters. I'm not saying you need to be perfect. I'm Mister Productivity, and I have good days and bad days just like you. But I protect my state so those bad days don't turn into weeks. One small thing you can do right now: Pick ONE area of your health that's been neglected and give it 5-10 minutes today. Maybe a short walk outside (rain or shine—grab a jacket), a quick breathing break with no phone, or just drinking a full glass of water instead of another coffee. Start tiny. Momentum builds from there. Health isn't a side quest. It's the main game. Want to talk about how this fits into your life? Reply to this email with the word HEALTH and I'll set up a free call with you—no strings, just real conversation to help you get unstuck. You've got this. Mark |

Hey, Reader! If scrolling feels more like a chore than a connection these days, I get it. For years I tried to crack every platform—TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads. Coaches, courses, trends, hashtags. Engagement? Mostly zero. I was exhausted from performing for an audience that wasn’t really there. Then I made a simple decision: stop chasing. Post what God puts on my heart, serve the people who need it, and let the right ones find me. In that freedom, I discovered something...
Hey, Reader! It’s February 13, and if your mornings still feel like a battle—or if you’re wondering why your days start reactive instead of intentional—let’s talk about something I fought for years: the 5 a.m. club. I was a committed night owl. Bed at 11 or midnight, up at 7 or 8, coffee in hand by 9. That was my rhythm. When I first read Robin Sharma’s The 5AM. Club, I thought, “No way. Not for me.” I read it four times over the years, loved the stories and lessons, but every time I closed...
Hey, Reader! It’s February 6, and if we’re being real, the New Year glow has probably dimmed for a lot of us. Goals that felt exciting on January 1 now feel heavy. Energy’s low, motivation’s spotty, and the couch is winning more battles than it should. I’ve been there. But here’s the truth I’ve learned the hard way: You can have the best mindset, the clearest Why, the perfect plan—but if your body is running on empty, none of it sticks. Productivity isn’t just about your calendar or your...
