Lock It In: The Final Reset

What if you didn’t need a complete overhaul to feel like yourself again?

What if a few small, intentional shifts could actually lead to radical clarity?

If you’ve been tracking with me through the Summer Reset Series, this is the final chapter—and it’s not about more. It’s about choosing what’s already working and doubling down.

Let’s do a quick recap of where we’ve been:

Clarity Check-In
Even I, Mister Productivity, can let confusion cloud my thinking. Sometimes, even when I know I need to reset, I stall. That’s real life. This series was never about perfection—it’s about getting 1% better. Extend yourself grace when clarity drifts.

Simplify Your Schedule
My digital calendar only includes scheduled events like coaching calls or podcast interviews—but don’t be fooled. I still plan my day with my trusty pocket-sized bullet journal. Writing things down keeps me focused and intentional. Less on the calendar = more room to breathe.

Reset Your Daily Rhythm
I protect my sleep like a treasure. Screens off by 8 PM, asleep by 8:45, and up around 4 AM—even on weekends and holidays. I run daily (since August 29, 2017), get over 15,000 steps a day, and soak in sunlight whenever it’s out. This rhythm fuels everything I do.

Boundaries with Bite
I joke that my boundaries are guarded by snipers, missile systems, and alligators—but it’s true in spirit. Strong boundaries are essential. Without them, distractions sneak in and steal your energy.

The Summer of Saying No
I make decisions fast. Not always right—but fast. I say “no” way more than “yes” because I’ve studied how successful people protect their time. Saying no creates space for your real priorities to shine.

What If Joy Is the Shortcut?
Productivity without joy is just performance. I recharge by watching every Man City match (even if it’s at 9 AM), spending time with my wife, sitting barefoot in the sun with our pups, and reading print books. Joy isn’t a luxury—it’s fuel.

Now, here’s where you come in.

This final reset isn’t about giving you more tools—it’s about helping you lock in the ones that matter.

Because awareness without action? That’s just potential energy.

Here’s how to wrap it all up:

✅ Choose your top 3 shifts from the series—the ones that made your eyebrows raise, your wheels turn, or your soul whisper, “Yes… this is what I’ve been missing.”

✍️ Write them down. Don’t just think about them. Ink on paper = commitment.

Then ask yourself:

  • What resonated most from this series?
  • What shift will I commit to this week?
  • What kind of momentum do I want to build through the rest of the summer?

You don’t need to change everything.
You just need to keep showing up—with clarity and intention.

🎯 Your Final Reset Challenge:
Pick ONE thing from this series and go all in for the next 7 days.

Just one.

Saying no.
Protecting your mornings.
Actually doing your Joy Audit.
Whatever it is—commit to it. Fully.

Want to go bigger?
Try it for 100 days and watch your life change.

We’re wrapping the Summer Reset Series here, but in the next The Productive Life?

It’s one of the most raw, personal newsletters I’ve ever written.

I’m calling it: The Letter.

You’ll hear what someone anonymously sent me—and how I responded. But more than that, it’s about how we bounce back from shame, criticism, and other people’s stories.

It’s going to be a powerful one. Don’t miss it.

Until then—
Protect your energy.
Trust your process.
And keep bouncing forward.

You’ve got this.
